Over the summer my sister and I have started a business, Eye Candy Buffets. Here are some pictures of our first event, a wedding reception, for a bride whose favorite color is pink, and she wanted BLING!
We cater to any event, birthday, bridal shower, you name it. We put together the tablescape with candy and desserts and party go-ers are welcome to fill favor bags with candy and enjoy!

I haven't been up to much creating latley so, I thought I'd post someting I've made recently.

Pillowcase Grocery Bag

See!! I do have some green in me!!

My mom brought by this body+soul magazine yesterday. The article made this bag look pretty easy and since I am starting to get a hang of sewing and all...I made a few.

The first one was out of a pillowcase that "had memories" for Jason I told him that I will just be
re purposing it. When I was at Target I found a cute print on clearance. It was a body pillow so I got two out of one pillowcase. Oh, and I put some ribbon on it and reused the zipper too...Fancy :D

I think that because I'm so proud of my new grocery bags... I will, OK may, remember to get them out of the car BEFORE I go into the store!

I'm Going Crafting Crazy

After a long dry spell, I'm back at it!
It took about 2 months to get going after having Owen.

I'm not quite sure what happened but, I just got my brand new sewing machine that I've had for 2 years (in the box, never opened) and conquered it! I was really intimidated by that thing! But, I got the nerve and read the directions...novel I know, and I learned how to wind and thread the bobbin and needle and the rest is history!!
I've made some taggies and some bibs so far.
Around the same time I made some more jewelry and some felt cupcakes for a onesie so, cute! Gabi and Grace are coming over tomorrow to make felt hair clips...FUN!
